Keys Animal ER at Cruz Animal Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated professional for overnight emergency care to join our team of four experienced veterinarians. We are also interested in welcoming overnight emergency relief veterinarians who would like to visit and work in the beautiful surroundings of the Florida Keys without the need for permanent relocation. Job Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Florida
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in emergency cases
- Ability to perform emergency surgeries when necessary
- Excellent multitasking and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Effective teamwork and communication skills with veterinary staff and pet owners
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in emergency and critical care medicine
