Large Animal Surgery, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Clinician Educator Track
The Department of Clinical Studies-New Bolton Center at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in Large Animal Surgery. The successful candidate will be a DVM/VMD or equivalent and will be board-certified in the American or European Colleges of Veterinary Surgery with demonstrated expertise in equine elective surgery. Experience in farm animal surgery and equine orthopedics is desirable. New Bolton Center has a robust and diverse elective surgery caseload, with an emphasis on sport horses. The surgery caseload is currently managed by 4 elective equine surgeons, 1 farm-animal specialist, 6 surgery residents, and 6 rotating interns. The surgery service at New Bolton Center is supported by sports medicine specialists
