Animal Program Director
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is recruiting for an Animal Program Director (APD) to lead the AAALAC accredited Animal Care Program within its Intramural Research Program (IRP). The position is also that of a Staff Scientist, directly employed by the Federal Government. Research supported by the Animal Care Program will focus on fundamental brain mechanisms related to addiction, and novel means of manipulating those mechanisms and associated brain circuitry for addiction treatment.
