Texas Coalition for Animal Protection’s veterinary surgical externship program provides veterinary student seniors the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of high-quality shelter and companion animal medicine. Veterinary students will work alongside our experienced veterinarians and staff to gain hands-on experience,  earn college credit, and learn from best-in-class instructors.  This exclusive externship is offered to a limited number of fourth-year students from AVMA-accredited universities.   TCAP is a high-volume, high-quality spay/ neuter and animal welfare organization that works to better the lives of companion animals and the people who love them throughout North Texas.
