We have a busy, well-established 24/7 emergency service and are excited to announce that we have expanded our hospital and Specialty Services and are seeking additional Specialists to join our growing Private Practice here in beautiful and sunny, Fargo, North Dakota.
Who we are:
Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center is independently owned and has been serving North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota communities for the past 17 years. We are a VECCS level 2 Emergency center and North Dakota’s only 24/7 emergency hospital, who just recently expanded to provide our specialists with their dream space to practice. We currently have two boarded criticalists who provide hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, and mechanical ventilator therapies. Along with our criticalists, we have 11 experienced emergency veterinarians backed by a great support staff and management team. We also currently offer Referral Surgery and Dermatology services. Having owners who work in our hospital gives our leadership team a great perspective on how to support our staff and to make sure a good work-life balance is provided (we don’t just advertise it, we practice it). Our hospital owners and leadership team want our doctors to practice how they want and make sure you have any and all the support, equipment, and staff you need to run your department. With our new two-story hospital addition, we are actively hiring for surgery, internal medicine, and oncology specialists to better serve our community.
Our facility currently has all the bells and whistles including a large ICU, 2 surgery suites, extensive in-house lab, bedside oxygen, Snyder O2 units, 16 slice helical CT, advanced ultrasound and echo services, GI endoscope, and our own blood bank. Our two-story specialty center has two more surgery suites, 8 additional exam rooms, room for fluoro capabilities and our digital x-ray system will include wireless DR plates for intraop use. Anything else our specialists require or need for their department, we will provide!
