Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position developing and supervising a surgical education program.  This appointment focuses of the training of veterinary students within the structure of a live-animal surgical laboratory. The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative programs to achieve surgical excellence in future veterinarians. While primarily involved in surgical laboratory education, the candidate is also expected to assist with client-owned animal surgery cases as needed. Some didactic teaching is also expected.  While development of an independent research program is not expected for this position, willingness to engage in collaborative scholarly activities is required.
