As a trusted, independently owned general practice, we pride ourselves on educating pet owners and delivering personal, progressive veterinary care. Led by Dr. Elizabeth Winingham, we believe in building relationships—with clients, pets, and our team. Our location is in Bowie, TX – 1 hr from DFW | 45 mins from Wichita Falls.

Company History
Dr. Winingham opened Chisholm Trail Pet Clinic (CTPC) in the summer of 2003.
A 1992 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, she was employed as an associate veterinarian at a mixed animal practice (9yrs), a small animal only practice (2yrs) and in an emergency hospital (6mths) prior to building and establishing CTPC.
CTPC strives to meet the guidelines of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The AAHA standards of excellence apply to the following areas and services in our clinic:
