WELCOME TO MONTGOMERY ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Our Cincinnati, Ohio 3 doctor small animal and exotics practice is AAHA-accredited and independently owned. We won't bore you with details about our high quality medicine, in-house diagnostics, fear-free handling, and flexibility. Instead, let's share what really matters: our people. We care about our staff as much as our patients. We make time for our clients and develop long term relationships - spanning generations, in fact! We have the best clients in the city - they care about their pets and are proactive with their health. We mentor our student employees, and learn from them in return. Past assistants have gone on to vet and tech school, and we host tech students for preceptorships. If you want to focus on your patients' long term health, develop friendships with your coworkers, and still get home at a reasonable hour, please reach out! New grads welcome--we'll offer the voice of experience while you bring us the cutting edge. Interest in exotics preferred but not required. PS: we have a lot of fun with employee birthdays, holidays, and team social events too.
Company History
Montgomery Animal Hospital was founded in the late 1940's by Dr. Montgomery, one of the first small animal focused veterinarians in the Cincinnati area. The hospital became AAHA-accredited in 1950, and has achieved continuous accreditation ever since. Over the years the practice grew from a practice in a house with ponies in the surrounding fields to the modern space we remodeled in 2024. We are proudly independent, with Dr. Krumanaker being the 4th associate vet to transition to owning the practice when Dr. Fairhurst retired in 2021.
