We are a privately owned Small Animal Practice located in Orange County, NY (1 hour outside of NYC). We are fully staffed and provide high quality medicine to our local community. We are active within the community and also provide services for local shelters and organizations.
Company History
Montgomery Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1989 by Dr. James "Jim" Fischer. Jim put his heart and soul into the hospital forming it into one of the most reputable hospitals in Orange County today. His veterinary skills and dedication to the animals was steadfast and unmistakable. His compassion and commitment were unwavering.
Jim, without a doubt, loved what he did. We, here at Montgomery Veterinary Hospital, love what we do. We lost our founder on January 9, 2016 but our commitment to the hospital, and continuing his legacy, is as strong as ever.
We have restructured the hospital. We have a new team to assist you and your pet’s healthcare needs. From general wellness, dentistry, spay and neuter, surgeries, to in depth diagnostics. We hope to address all your pet’s healthcare needs as faithfully as we have in the past.
