Company History

Veterinary Medical Center (known locally as "The VMC" or "Vet Center") was founded in the 1950s by Dr. Joe Manspeaker and moved to its current location in 1971. Dr. William Tarpley assumed ownership of the practice in 1978. Shortly after, in 1979 Dr. Bradley Foor joined the team and became co-owner in 1982. Drs. Karen Morris and Dr. Bruce Mueller joined the team in 1994, and Dr. Lindsay Turnbull in 2009. In 2017 Dr. Amber Davidhizar joined the practice and recently has become one of the co-owners, joining Dr. Morris and Dr. Turnbull current owners. In 2002 Dr. Elizabeth Santini joined the practice as an occasional fill in on Saturday mornings and continues to work 2-3 morning a week and occasional Saturdays. Being a 3 1/2 Dr. practice we continue to invest in state-of-the-art technology that allows us to perform advanced medical and surgical procedures.
