- Associate Veterinarian for Private Practice
Description
Practice medicine the way you imagined you would.
At Alpine Animal Hospital, we believe great veterinary medicine starts with supporting the people who provide it. We’re a privately owned small-animal practice in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, and we’re looking for an associate veterinarian who wants to enjoy coming to work each day, practice high-quality medicine, and become part of a genuinely supportive team.
Whether you’re a new graduate looking for mentorship or an experienced veterinarian seeking a better work-life balance, we’d love to meet you.
Why Alpine?
Our goal is simple: provide excellent care for our patients while creating a workplace where veterinarians have the time, support, and autonomy to do their best work.
You’ll enjoy:
Three- or four-day work week
No after-hours or emergency duty
Experienced, team-oriented support staff
Digital radiography, in-house laboratory, surgical laser, and modern dental equipment
The opportunity to pursue surgery and dentistry if those are areas you enjoy—or focus on wellness and internal medicine if they’re not
A collaborative environment where questions and ideas are always welcome
A privately owned practice where decisions are made locally—not by a corporate office
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package tailored to your experience and interests.
Salary: $110,000–$130,000
Production bonus opportunities
CE allowance
Licensing and professional dues
Retirement contribution
Health insurance stipend
Paid time off
