Founded in 1995, Hilltop Pet Clinic has become an integral part of the Pueblo West community and was voted Best Animal Hospital in Pueblo County in both 2025 and 2026. Our mission is simple: Improving lives one pet at a time. Every decision we make is guided by our commitment to exceptional medicine, outstanding client service, and genuine compassion for the families we serve.

You'll work alongside experienced, collaborative doctors and highly trained support staff who help make busy days efficient and rewarding. We typically provide each veterinarian with 2–3 technicians plus additional support personnel, allowing you to focus on medicine rather than administrative tasks. Our daily rounds, open communication, and team-oriented environment create a workplace where everyone contributes, learns, and succeeds together.

Hilltop is known throughout the region for practicing progressive medicine and utilizing diagnostics at a level rarely seen in similarly sized practices. Our equipment includes IDEXX Catalyst One analyzers, ProCyte, SediVue, Snap Pro systems, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, Midmark dental equipment, ultrasound, Companion Laser Therapy, Bionote diagnostics, Stance Analyzer technology, and Talkatoo AI veterinary scribe software. We have consistently ranked among the top users of diagnostic tools in Southern Colorado and maintain strong relationships with visiting specialists in surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.
