Practice Medicine the Way It Should Be Practiced
Veterinary Medical Center Northwest 1604 is a brand-new, full-service small animal clinic on the fast-growing Northwest side of San Antonio — and we're looking for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to grow with us from the ground up.
We combine modern diagnostics and comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care with something that's become rare in veterinary medicine: real relationships with clients and their pets, and real work-life balance for our team. Our 4-on/3-off schedule means three full days off every single week, with predictable 9-hour shifts (7 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–6 PM on weekdays, 8 AM–5 PM on weekends) rotated fairly across the doctor team.
What You'll Do
- Provide wellness and preventive care for dogs and cats at every life stage
- Perform routine and soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures
- Utilize modern in-house diagnostics to get answers quickly and guide treatment
- Build lasting relationships with a loyal, growing client base
- Play an active role in growing the practice — welcoming new patients, building your own clientele, and helping establish VMC1604 as the go-to clinic in Northwest San Antonio
- Help shape the culture and medical standards of a new practice — your voice matters here
