Practice Overview
Spelts and Masters Veterinary Clinic offers a wide range of veterinary services for both small and large animals. From routine check-ups to emergency care, our experienced veterinarians are here to provide the best possible treatment for pets of all kinds.
Essential Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
- Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
- Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards
Requirements/Qualifications
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
- Active Georgia veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
