Animal Medical Clinic is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our collaborative, growing team on Florida’s Space Coast. Whether you are a new graduate looking for a supportive start to your career or an experienced veterinarian looking for a practice where you can continue to grow, we offer the flexibility, resources, and team environment to help you thrive.
For new graduates, mentorship at Animal Medical Clinic is more than an open-door policy. We provide a structured, individualized transition into practice that progresses at your pace. New associates may begin by shadowing for as long as they need before gradually transitioning into their own appointments with extended appointment times. Caseload and appointment length increase only as confidence and experience grow. Our structured mentorship program includes regular one-on-one meetings, ongoing case discussion, and hands-on surgical mentorship when you feel ready. With a large team of 18 experienced veterinarians who enjoy collaborating and sharing their skills, there is always someone nearby to consult, learn from, or work through a challenging case with.
Experienced veterinarians will also find the autonomy and resources to practice at a high level, pursue their clinical interests, and share their own expertise within a collaborative team. Our doctors bring a wide variety of skills and interests to the practice, including orthopedic surgery, oral surgery, rehabilitation, exotic animal medicine, acupuncture, and more, creating opportunities to both learn from one another and develop individual areas of interest. Our hospitals are equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, in-house laboratory capabilities, dedicated surgery and dental suites, and other tools needed to provide high-quality medicine.
We also believe that a fulfilling career should leave room for a fulfilling life. Scheduling is flexible and can be tailored to the number of hours you want to work. There are no after-hours emergency or on-call responsibilities, and urgent cases are not routinely added on top of an already full schedule.
Compensation begins with a guaranteed base salary with production-based bonuses. Full-time doctors receive a comprehensive benefits package including DEA and Florida licensing fees, continuing education allowance, AVMA and FVMA dues, VIN access, health insurance, professional liability insurance, veterinary license defense coverage, 401(k) match, paid time off, paid holidays, AI scribe and discounted pet care.

Requirements
We are looking for a veterinarian who is compassionate, curious, collaborative, and committed to providing excellent care to both patients and clients. New graduates are enthusiastically encouraged to apply, and experienced veterinarians are equally welcome. We value good communication, a willingness to learn and share knowledge, and a team-first approach.
We offer flexible scheduling and are happy to discuss a schedule that fits your professional and personal goals. Our hospitals close at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and at noon on Saturdays, with no after-hours emergency or on-call responsibilities.
