Description
Grants Pass Community Veterinary Clinic — Grants Pass, Oregon
~ Bringing Medicine Back to the Pets — and Life Back to You.~
About Us
Grants Pass Community Veterinary Clinic (GPCVC) is an independently owned small animal practice located in the heart of the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon. Opened in 2026 on the site of a beloved, longstanding local veterinary hospital, GPCVC combines a legacy of trusted community care with modern facilities, equipment, and systems. We are independently owned — not part of a corporate consolidator — and we're committed to staying that way.
We are currently working toward establishing our non profit arm to the clinic and will have this in place by the end of the year.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a licensed Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to practice quality medicine in a supportive, low-pressure environment, without the overnight shifts, on-call rotations, or production quotas common at larger corporate practices.
Accessibility is central to how we practice. Because we operate on lower margins and keep costs down for clients, we're able to say "yes" more often — to the diagnostic workup, the imaging, the bloodwork — instead of constantly trimming the plan to fit a client's budget or a corporate revenue target. That means you get to practice the medicine you were trained to practice, recommend what the patient actually needs, and see cases through properly rather than compromising care to hit a number.
Why Grants Pass, Oregon
Grants Pass sits in the Rogue Valley, surrounded by the Cascade and Siskiyou mountains, with the Rogue River running through town. Enjoy whitewater rafting, fly fishing, hiking, and mountain biking minutes from home, mild four-season weather without harsh winters, and a lower cost of living than major West Coast cities. Wine country in the Rogue and Applegate valleys, the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, and the Oregon Coast are all within about 90 minutes.
