You'll enjoy being a part of a well-established owner/manager practice, being 15 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes to downtown Bradenton! We are a 2-doctor practice actively expanding to better serve our community. You only work 4 out of 5 days that we're open, and no weekends! We are a progressive and updated clinic that understands the importance of a healthy work/life balance. You'll be supported by a team committed to providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for our patients through compassion, dedication, and professionalism. Our biggest asset is the relationship between our team members and their passion to strive and provide exceptional care for our clients and their pets.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a veterinarian. The Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and diseases of pets. The Veterinarian will conduct physical exams, perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform surgeries. The Veterinarian will also provide preventative care and education to clients.

- Designated lunch hour from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, where all operations are halted, and the hospital closes.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure in the state of Florida or ability to obtain a license
- Knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine
- Skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and diseases of pets
- Experience in performing surgeries, including spay and neuter
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff members
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Multitasking
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care for pets and their owners
- Use of AviMark a plus
- Experience in exotic animal medicine and surgery a plus
