You'll enjoy being a part of a well-established owner/manager practice, being 15 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes to downtown Bradenton! We are a 2-doctor practice actively expanding to better serve our community. You only work 4 out of 5 days that we're open, and no weekends! Role Description: 

This is a full-time, on-site role for a veterinarian. The Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and diseases of pets. The Veterinarian will conduct physical exams, perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform surgeries. The Veterinarian will also provide preventative care and education to clients.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure in the state of Florida or ability to obtain a license
• Knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine
• Skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and diseases of pets
• Experience in performing surgeries, including spay and neuter
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff members
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Multitasking
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care for pets and their owners
• Use of AviMark a plus
• Experience in exotic animal medicine and surgery a plus
