- Come help us build something different as a Hospital Medical Leader
Description
You became a veterinarian to practice medicine. Not to burn out.
Let's be real.
Veterinary medicine is an incredible profession—but it can be hard.
Too many veterinarians are exhausted from being overbooked, understaffed, pressured to hit numbers, and asked to do more with less. Too many feel like they have lost the joy that brought them into the profession in the first place.
We think it can be different.
Brand - new Vetco Total Care hospitals are opening in Florida and we're looking for Hospital Medical Leaders (or Associate Veterinarians) who wants to practice high - quality medicine in a hospital designed around veterinarians—not around corporate checklists. We have hospital locations in: Venice, Sarasota, and Stuart.
This is veterinary medicine the way it should be.
At Vetco Total Care, you get to be the doctor.
Make the medical decisions. Build relationships with your clients. Treat every patient like your own. Ask questions. Learn. Grow. Do the medicine you were trained to do.
No cookie - cutter medicine.
No someone - from - above telling you how to practice.
No racing through appointments just to hit a number.
Just great medicine, supported by a team that has your back.
A hospital built for veterinarians—not paperwork.
You shouldn't have to choose between being a great veterinarian and having a life outside the hospital.
That's why we take care of the operational side—payroll, HR, licensing, compliance, and administrative support—so you can focus on what matters:
Caring for pets.
Building trust with clients.
Growing your skills.
Working alongside a team you enjoy seeing every day.
Why veterinarians choose Vetco Total Care—and stay.
Practice autonomous medicine with support from local Veterinary Area Medical Directors when you need it—not because someone is looking over your shoulder.
Full - time schedules start at just 30 hours per week because flexibility matters.
Want to work part time? We support that too.
Paid continuing education up to $3,500 per year so you can keep growing.
Leadership development and career advancement opportunities.
No non - compete agreements.
No negative accruals.
No on - call or overnight shifts.
We close for lunch—and by 6:00 p.m. every night.
The team around you matters.
Being a veterinarian is hard enough. Your support team should have your back.
We're building a hospital with people who believe in collaboration, respect, and doing the right thing for patients.
Our hospitals offer:
Strong doctor - to - support - staff ratios.
Credentialed veterinary technicians and skilled support staff.
Ongoing technician training and continuing education.
A team - based approach where everyone is encouraged to grow their skills.
Bonus opportunities that benefit the entire hospital team.
