Souris Valley Animal Shelter, a thriving, grant-backed non-profit shelter in Minot, North Dakota, is offering externship opportunities for students who want real clinical and surgical exposure in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

This is more than shadowing. You will be encouraged to get involved, think through cases, and grow at your own pace alongside a laid-back, down-to-earth team that genuinely enjoys teaching.

What Your Experience Will Look Like

Exposure to a wide variety of small animal GP cases
Opportunities to assist with appointments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
Hands-on involvement based on your comfort level and experience
One-on-one mentorship and guidance from experienced veterinarians
