- Veterinarian - Clinical Research Fellow
Description
The Nolan Lab at NC State CVM is looking for a skilled clinical veterinarian to join our team in a postdoctoral research scholar position focused on comparative oncology and translational cancer research. This position would be ideal for someone looking to hone their skills as a bona fide clinician-scientist.
There is flexibility in how the position is structured. For example, it could serve as a stepping stone toward residency training, or, for the right candidate, it could potentially be converted into a PhD program. At least initially, the scholar will focus on two major projects: one that brings together surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and immunotherapy, and another that blends neurology, behavioral medicine, and oncology. The ideal appointment is likely 2 years, but there may be flexibility for a shorter or longer timeline depending on the candidate’s goals.
