Hamlin Animal Hospital is offering veterinary externship opportunities for DVM/VMD students who are interested in small animal general practice, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, and real-world clinical experience.

Externship Experience
Externs may have the opportunity to:
Shadow doctors during appointments and urgent care visits
Observe and assist with patient exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
Learn SOAP note writing and medical record documentation
Observe surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, and recovery when available
Review radiographs, lab work, and diagnostic plans with doctors
Practice client communication skills with guidance
Work alongside experienced technicians and support staff

Requirements
Currently enrolled in DVM program and currently in clinical rotations or completed clinical rotations.
