Description
Associate Veterinarian, Privately Owned Practice
No Weekends | Four Day Work Week
Saginaw, Michigan
There comes a point in many veterinarians' careers when they realize they aren't looking for another job.
They're looking for a different way to practice medicine.
A place where appointments aren't rushed.
Where colleagues genuinely enjoy working together.
Where leadership listens.
Where they can go home at the end of the day knowing they practiced the kind of medicine they imagined when they entered veterinary school.
If that thought has crossed your mind, we'd love to introduce you to Gratiot Animal Hospital.
We're a privately owned, four doctor hospital in Saginaw, Michigan, where veterinarians don't simply come to work.
They build careers.
Some of our doctors and team members have been here for 15 to 40 years.
Around here, people often describe Gratiot as their "forever clinic."
We think that says everything.
Why Veterinarians Stay
Time to Practice Thoughtful Medicine
Excellent medicine takes time.
Time to think through cases.
Time to educate clients.
Time to collaborate with colleagues.
Time to build relationships with the families who trust you with their pets.
That's the environment we've intentionally created.
Leadership That Trusts You
If you're an experienced veterinarian, you won't be asked to fit into someone else's mold.
Dr. McNally values clinical judgment, encourages new ideas, and supports veterinarians who want to continue growing professionally.
Whether there's an area of medicine you'd like to expand or a new approach you'd like to introduce, your voice matters here.
A Team That Makes Every Day Better
Great medicine is rarely practiced alone.
You'll work alongside experienced veterinarians, talented licensed technicians, and long-term team members who genuinely enjoy helping one another.
This isn't a competitive culture.
It's a collaborative one.
People celebrate each other's successes, step in when someone needs help, and treat one another with kindness and respect.
That's one of the reasons people stay.
