Countryside Veterinary Center is a busy GP hospital with an engaging caseload and clientele. More importantly, we’re a large team that enjoys medical autonomy, tackling complex cases, and collaborating with other skilled doctors! Plus, we’re searching for another veterinarian to join our dynamic team!
Our Practice
Busy practice seeing daytime emergency cases and urgent care in addition to general practice
Canine and feline medicine
Large and modern facility with exciting offerings (like our hydrotherapy treadmill and therapy room!)
Consistently busy hospital with YoY growth
Located ~20 minutes from downtown Chicago
Our Team
Led by Medical Director Dr. Michelle Daviou, with a strong focus on upholding the highest level of care possible
Operations run by our two experienced hospital managers, so doctors can focus on medicine
8 collaborative DVMs on the team
Certified rehab medicine DVM and tech on the team
Equipment & Capabilities
8 exam rooms
2 surgical suites
Dental suite and dental X-rays
Diagnostics, including digital X-rays and ultrasound
Dispensing pharmacy
Electrocardiogram (EKG)
IDEXX Vet Lab Station
Rehab medicine, including a therapy laser, hydrotherapy treadmill, chiropractic and acupuncture therapy
Same-day appointments for urgent care
Tonometry
Medicine & Services
Canine & Feline Medicine
Cardiology
Dentistry
Dermatology
Diagnostics
Endocrinology
Gastroenterology
Internal Medicine
Orthopedic Surgery - including TPLOs, fracture repairs, femoral head ostectomy/FHO, etc.)

Surgery - ranging from routine to advanced
Urgent Care
Schedule
Flexible scheduling is offered, with most DVMs working 34 hours per week
Open 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Open 8:00 am - 2:00 pm on weekends
Same-day and urgent care appointments offered
Compensation
ProSal compensation
$125,000–$150,000 starting base salary
20% starting production
Production bonuses paid monthly with no negative accrual
Compensation packages are tailored to align with each candidate’s education, experience, clinical interests, and goals. If your expectations differ, apply and we’ll discuss options.

Who We’re Looking For
3-5+ years of experience working as a Veterinarian
An active Illinois DVM license, or interest in relocating to Illinois
Someone who wants to practice high-quality medicine and see more than your average GP hospital
