Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year base salary with production bonus paid each pay period
Job description:
Small animal practice is seeking a veterinarian to join our team. Our hospital sees dogs, cats and exotic species (seeing exotics is optional). Willing to train and mentor a new graduate. Position is available for immediate hire.
Experience:
- Graduated from an accredited veterinary medical school
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon
- Strong knowledge of animal pathophysiology, anatomy and disease processes, veterinary terminology, and laboratory procedures
- Experience in animal restraint, handling, and care
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and fellow staff members

Schedule:
-10 hour shifts, 4 days a week for full time work
-Day shift only
-Clinic is open Monday through Friday
-No weekends or overnight duties
Work Location: Brick and mortar clinic, work in person directly with staff, clients and animals

Requirements
-Diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries in animals
-Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed
-Conduct physical examinations and administer vaccinations
-Provide preventative care, including dental cleanings and parasite control
-Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, behavior, and overall pet care
-Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care for animals
-Maintain accurate medical records for all patient
